Denise-Marie (Dee) Martin is an Early Learning Specialist. She is also the past owner and director of Little Leaders Childcare and the founder of Creating Little Leaders. Her formal education in Early Childhood Development and Education are from NSCECE (Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education) and Dalhousie University. But more importantly she brings to the table 30+ years of experience as a parent, grandparent, childcare professional, and professional nanny.
She has taught parenting workshops and continuing education credits for Early Childhood Educators through Creative Parenting and now provides training to parents, childcare professionals and educators through Creating Little Leaders. Her passion is developing interpersonal, communication and leadership skills in families, coaches, educators and children and is the primary reason she has established Little Leaders Childcare and Creating Little Leaders.
Dee is also a founding partner with the John Maxwell Team of Leaders and is a certified teacher, speaker and coach on leadership with the John Maxwell Team and has added these skills and resources toward her work with Creating Little Leaders as well as in the classroom she works in daily.
Currently she is working as a Pre-K teacher in a private school in Halifax NS and is in the process of creating a book for parents, educators and coaches on leadership style parenting and early learning.
